Bengaluru FC have announced that they had signed a one-year deal with Pintola, who have come on board as the club’s ‘Official Peanut Butter Partner’. The association, which is set to run through the Blues’ 2022-23 Indian Super League campaign, is the club’s first with an Indian superfood brand.
“We’re really glad to be partnering with an Indian brand that focuses on organic and natural superfood, as this is a big part of our players’ diet. Pintola is a brand that has constantly reinvented itself over the past ten years, and we’re excited to see what this partnership holds,” said club CEO Mandar Tamhane, speaking to the media at the press conference to launch the association.
Pintola, whose product range has as many as 21 items, aims to cater to a consumer base of over 100 million in the next two years. Speaking of the association, Anand Patel, Owner of Pintola said, “Pintola family is absolutely delighted with this association with Bengaluru FC as their Official Peanut Butter. In recent years, we have been investing across sports categories purely because we firmly believe that any sport is a key driver in fostering the idea of a healthier India which has been at the helm of everything that we stand for as a brand. More so, we absolutely believe in our core values driven by passion in pursuit of continued and sustainable excellence, and thus we see a natural fit with Bengaluru FC being one of the best teams in the country.”
Speaking at the Press Conference, Anand Patel added, “Lastly, I would really like to thank Mr Mandar Tamhane, Chief Executive Officer at Bengaluru FC and the teams at JSW Sports and Panache for driving this seamlessly for us. We really look forward to a successful ISL season for Bengaluru FC and this partnership in coming years.”
Bengaluru FC’s Indian Super League campaign began with a win against NorthEast United last month, and the Blues next face East Bengal FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on November 11.
