European quartet secure 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup – France berths!

The group stage of European zone qualifying for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France concluded on Tuesday, September 4 with Germany, Norway and Sweden securing an eighth straight appearance at the competition, while Scotland claimed their maiden berth at women’s football’s showpiece event.

Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands and Switzerland will battle for the final European qualifying spot, with the draw taking place on Friday, September 7 (14:00h CET).

Played over two legs, the semifinal play-offs will be played on October 1 and 9, 2018, with the two winners to contest the final playoff on November 5 and 13, 2018.
