FC Middlesbrough pays tribute to 1995/96 season with retro match kit!

FC Middlesbrough takes a step back in time by presenting a kit that pays homage to the 1995-1996 season, the one that saw the team debut in the current stadium, the Riverside Stadium.

The home kit, a vibrant classic red, is embellished with subtle vertical lines that echo the logo and the famous Tees Transporter Bridge of Middlesbrough. The white polo collar is adorned with red and blue stripes, and the club logo is symbolically placed on the heart, just like back then.

The away uniform features blue, black and red vertical stripes. Thin matching vertical lines also accompany the distinctive logo and bridge.

A detail that unites the two kits is the small white “Boro” inscription on the polo collar, emphasizing pride in belonging to the heart’s team.

Worn by the likes of Jan Aage Fjortoft, Nick Barmby and Juninho, they are synonymous with one of the most exciting times the story of the club.
