The football crazy state of Manipur will witness a very special football game, the Maibam Rohit charity match between a Renedy Select XI against Second Division League side NEROCA FC on Saturday, June 4 at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal. Kickoff is at 3pm.
The Maibam Rohit charity match is a fundraiser for Rohit’s fight against cancer and is supported by the footballers.
The Renedy XI would feature former and current India internationals Renedy Singh, Gouramangi Singh, Sushil Kumar Singh, Subhash Singh, Dhanachandra Singh besides youngster Thongkhosiem Haokip and other national level Manipuri footballers.
The match is being organised by the Football Players Association of India (FPAI) with the support of NEROCA FC.
The tickets have been priced at Rs.30 for all categories!
