Second Division League champions NEROCA FC from Imphal in Manipur have retained the core of the team for their I-League 2017/18 season debut.
Amongst the players retained are club captain and goalkeeper Lalit Thapa, Mizo midfield maestro David Lalbiakzara, former India internationals Moirangthem Govin Singh (defender) and Singam Subash Singh (striker), besides midfielder Thangjam Saran Singh, Moirangthem Ashok Singh, Moirangthem Dhananjoy Singh, Ningthoujam Pritam Singh, Thokchom Johnson Singh, Chinakham Anandkumar Singh, and Ngasepam Tondonba Singh.
NEROCA has also decided to retain two of their foreigners in the African duo of defender Kallon Varney and striker Felix Odili.
