I-League side RoundGlass Punjab FC have announced Staikos Vergetis of Greece as their new head coach for the 2022/23 season.
46 year old Tripoli born Staikos Vergetis started off as interim head coach of his home town club Asteras Tripolis FC, where he managed the team in a full time role from 2013 to 2016, where he took them to the UEFA Europa League group stage and their best finish in the Greek Super League.
Thereafter Staikos Vergetis worked at Nea Salamina FC in Cyprus before returning to Asteras Tripolis. Then he went on to coach Doxa Drama FC, Niki Volos FC and last season OF Ierapetra.
Now Staikos Vergetis moves to India to coach RG Punjab FC.
