Struggling Mumbai FC sign seasoned Mehrajuddin Wadoo for remainder of I-League!

Mumbai FC, who are currently struggling in the I-League after a good start, have today announced the signing of seasoned allrounder Mehrajuddin Wadoo for remainder of the I-League.

32 year old Srinagar-born Mehrajuddin Wadoo is a former India international, who used to play more in midfield but nowadays plays more as a right back or even centre back for his teams.

He was signed by Bangalore-based HAL SC in 2002 from the Junior National Championships, where he was representing Jammu & Kashmir and the rest as they say is history.

Mehraj went on to play for ITI – Bangalore, Mohun Bagan AC (twice), East Bengal Club, Salgaocar FC, Mohammedan Sporting Club, FC Pune City, Bharat FC, Chennaiyin FC (twice) and Sporting Clube de Goa.

After a good start Mumbai FC under new coach Santosh Kashyap has been on a losing streak and they would hope that the experienced Mehrajuddin Wadoo can stabilise the team.
