EAST BENGAL the REAL POWER (EBRP), a fan forum of India’s Football Giant East Bengal Club does it once again!
Getting to know the plight of ‘Lozenge didi/mashi’, an ardent East Bengal supporter, EBRP once again came together to do something for Jamuna-di. In the meantime, EBRP came to know that the family of Kartik Das, a tea seller in that area, who was an ardent East Bengal supporter and who passed away recently leaving his wife and two children behind, are in very bad shape too.
EBRP decided to help both. In just 12 hours time, EBRP collected Rs.25,632. It was decided to give Rs.12,000 cash each to Jamuna Di and wife of late Kartik Das.
With the rest of the amount, i.e. Rs.1,650, EBRP purchased essential items like Rice, Lentil, Potato, Onion, Salt, Sugar, Refined Oil, Masala Powders, Puffed Rice, Soap and Coconut Oil and handed over the same to Late Kartik da’s wife. EBRP also kept in mind the current situation and so ensured to take Masks and Sanitizers and handed over to both the families.
EBRP are indebted to all who have supported us reaching out and extending help to Lozenge Didi/Mashi and the Family of Kartik Das at this critical time.
