Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have signed young Indian teenage midfield talent Vinit Rai ahead of the third edition of the ISL.
18 year old Assam born Vinit Rai Chamling was scouted by the Tata Football Academy as a 13 year old and inducted into their Academy program in Jamshedpur. After nearly four years at TFA, he joined Goan giants and record I-League champions Dempo SC in 2014 and has been with them over the last couple of years.
Vinit has mainly played for the Dempo Juniors at Under-20 and Under-20 level though he was part of the Dempo side which gained I-League promotion from the Second Division League.
Talented Vinit Rai has played for the India Under-19s and Under-23s, while having been a squad member of the senior Indian national team for their recent friendlies against Bhutan and Puerto Rico.
Kerala Blasters sign a talented central midfielder in Vinit Rai and it will be interesting to see, if he gets any playing time in ISL-3 with the Blasters having a lot of experience in midfield.
