The Football Association of Odisha are set to host the 24th edition of the Senior National Women’s Football Championship in Cuttack from tomorrow, September 18 to October 1.
A total of 27 state women teams will participate in the tournament which is being held in a group-cum-knockout format.
The winners of each of the eight groups qualify for the quarterfinals, which then lead into the semifinals and final, which would be played on October 1.
GROUPS
Group A: Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka
Group B: West Bengal, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh
Group C: Odisha, Telengana, Chhattisgarh
Group D: Railways, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan
Group E: Delhi, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh
Group F: Manipur, Pondicherry, Uttarakhand
Group G: Punjab, Kerala, Bihar, Assam
Group H: Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Chandigarh
