2022 UEFA Europa League final branding unveiled!

The branding for the 2022 UEFA Europa League final at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium in Seville is inspired by the city’s famous landmarks.

The branding has been built around the ‘energy wave’ idea, which is synonymous with the UEFA Europa League. Also, prominent, are some of Seville’s most famous landmarks, with the Plaza de España in the centre of the design.

To its left is the Metropol Parasol, which is made from wood and offers shade during the hot summer months to those visiting the Plaza de la Encarnación, as well as the Torre del Oro, a watchtower built in the 12th century.

To the right of the Plaza de España are two modern structures, the Torre Sevilla, which is the city’s tallest building, and the Puente del Alamillo, which spans the Canal de Alfonso XIII.

In the centre of the design is the UEFA Europa League trophy. Sevilla has a special place in the history of the UEFA Cup and UEFA Europa League, having won the competition a record six times; twice as the UEFA Cup and four more times in the UEFA Europa League era, most recently 2019/20.
