4th AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme gets underway!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) continued its quest to maximise the potential of its Member Associations (MAs) and Regional Associations (RAs) when the latest edition of the AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme commenced on Monday.

The programme, currently in its fourth instalment, will witness one candidate from Football Australia embark on an intensive training period, guided by experts from the AFC’s Member Association Division.
Taking place from 1 to 30 April 2024, the month-long initiative will provide the candidate with an excellent opportunity to engage directly with some of the top minds in the industry which will, in turn, help in gaining valuable insights on the latest best practices of football governance and administration, and day-to-day operations of the Confederation.

With close interactions with renowned industry experts forming a cornerstone of the learning experience, the programme aims to equip candidates with the necessary tools and knowledge that will help in their journey towards becoming the future leaders of Asian football.

Having honed their skills through the innovative capacity-building programme, participants are expected to share their learnings with their respective organisations and recommend the implementation of programmes and projects where necessary for the overall enhancement of administrative standards across the AFC’s MAs and RAs, further underlining its Vision and Mission to consolidate its position as a leading Confederation.

The Knowledge Sharing Programme is open to all employees of the AFC’s MAs and RAs. Moreover, candidates from the AFC Academic Centre of Excellence who have graduated with “distinction” will also have the opportunity to be part of the programme.
