ATK Mohun Bagan sign Serbian defender Slavko Damjanovic!

Kolkata giants ATK Mohun Bagan have announced the signing of Serbian-Montenegro Slavko Damjanovic for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.

30 year old Slavko Damjanović, who was born in Nikšić in Montenegro, played locally in his youth.

He then played in his native Montenegro for Čelik Nikšić, FK Mogren, FK Sutjeska Nikšić, and FK Mornar Bar.

He then played for Serbian sides FK Spartak Subotica and FK Bačka Subotica, in Hungary for Békéscsaba returning to play for FK Sutjeska Nikšić. Then Slavko joined Bidvest Wits in South Africa, played for FK Budućnost Podgorica, moved to Uzbek side PFC Lokomotiv Tashkent and then played for TSC Bačka Topola in Serbia.

Then in 2021, Slavko Damjanović moved to India to join Chennaiyin FC for ISL-8, where he made 19 appearances and was one of the few positives in a dismal season.

He returned to Europe to play for FK Novi Pazar in Serbia before now moving back to India.

Slavko Damjanovic will join the ATK Mohun Bagan on or after January 1 once the winter transfer window opens.
