The office bearers and members of the Football Association of Odisha (FAO) have expressed its deep sorrow and condolence on the sad demise of Ganesh Appat, who breathed his last yesterday, March 17, 2024 at a private hospital Cuttack after brief illness. He was 52 years old.
He had represented Odisha in Santosh Trophy (National Football Championship) for several years and was also a state-level referee. He was an employee of Odisha Police, posted as an ASI.
He survived by his wife, three daughters & one son.
