Aurele Amenda leaves Eintracht Frankfurt!

Eintracht Frankfurt and Coventry City Football Club have agreed terms over the transfer of Swiss international Aurèle Amenda.

Aurèle Amenda signed for the Eagles from BSC Young Boys in January 2024 but stayed with his former employers on loan until the end of the season. He moved to Frankfurt at the start of the 2024/25 season and went on to make 42 appearances in all competitions, including 29 last term.

The defender, who was part of the Switzerland squad at the 2026 World Cup, has now joined newly promoted English Premier League outfit Coventry City FC.

Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “We’d like to thank Aurèle for his commitment in an Eintracht Frankfurt shirt. He always conducted himself with professionalism and always put the team first. We wish him all the best for the future, both in his sporting career and in his private life.”
