UMBRO’s Neo collection has a new look, designed to make the pinnacle equipment range of balls, guards and goalkeeper gloves stand out from the crowd. The new design for the Neo Pro ball features a Visual Communication System graphic, inspired by modern emergency vehicles, to ensure they stand out on the pitch.
On the football pitch, this visual clarity means balls will stand out for players and supporters, while goalkeeper gloves will be seen by officials looking to make those split-second decisions on who got a vital touch on the ball.
The Neo Pro ball, which prominently features the VCS graphic, is Umbro’s top level football. It has the FIFA Quality Pro mark, meaning it is has been tested by football’s governing body and deemed suitable for use at the highest level of the game.
This is thanks to a unique Teijin microfibre outer casing with a grip surface texture, which delivers durability, accuracy and true flight. A five layer construction with a latex bladder provides a consistent bounce and shape retention. The 14-panel ball is hand stitched with sealed seams to ensure zero water absorption.
Alongside the Neo football, the Neo goalkeeper glove collection also has a range of styles to suit individual taste, with three different cuts available – Rollfinger, Shotgun and Flat Palm DPS.
The Elite Pro model, worn by goalkeepers such as Ashlyn Harris and Dean Henderson, is Umbro’s top level glove. An exclusive 4mm latex palm with anti-abrasion coating in high use areas provides comfort, durability and grip in all conditions. On the back of the hand, an embossed latex punch zone offers protection, and is articulated to offer the flexibility keepers demand.
An anatomical latex wrist strap provides a secure fit and minimal distractions for goalkeepers looking to concentrate on the game.
Completing the Neo collection is a range of CE Certified shin guards. The Neo Vento Pro, a smaller, slim style of guard typically worn by pro players, provides a secure fit and improved breathability thanks to a moulded EVA backer. The Valor Pro, a style more suited for younger players looking for extra protection, features an external shell with a contoured shock zone for protection, while a brushed polyester backer offers enhanced comfort.
