Former I-League champions Aizawl FC started off their 2019/20 season training at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl on Monday, July 8 under head coach Stanley Rozario.
The first assignments for Aizawl FC will be local one’s in Mizoram which would include the Independence Day Cup and the Mizoram Premier League, where they would like to defend their title, before heading to the national level.
So far the club has only retained two foreigners in Ugandan defender Richard Kassaga and Liberian midfielder Alfred Jaryan.
