Odisha FC name Joaquin Valerio Olivera as goalkeeping coach!

Odisha FC have announced its Goalkeeping Coach Joaquin Valerio Olivera ahead of the eighth season of the Indian Super League. After retiring from professional football, Goalkeeping Coach Joaquin Valerio Olivera was associated with different Spanish clubs and has UEFA ‘B’ Goalkeeper Coach and UEFA ‘A’ Licence.

Expressing his delight, the new Goalkeeping Coach said, “I am very excited about this new project and eager to start working. I am sure it will be a very good season and I will do my best and contribute to the Club with all my experience.”

“Valerio has a lot of experience working in top teams, and belonging to the staff of Rafa Benítez. We are lucky to have him on board in this big project,” Odisha FC head coach Kiko Ramirez stated.

The Kalinga Warriors have also announced the Strength and Conditioning Coach yesterday and speaking about both the new coaches, Odisha FC president Raj Athwal said, “I am pleased to welcome the new coaching staff to the Odisha family. Having worked at the top level of the football pyramid, their experience and knowledge will be invaluable.”
