In one of the most sensational mid-season club switches by a coach in Indian football, former ISL champions ATK Mohun Bagan announced today Spaniard Juan Ferrando as their new head coach to replace Antonio Lopez Habas.
Juan Ferrando on Sunday activated his release clause at FC Goa to make the mid-season switch, only a day after Antonio Lopez Habas had left ATK Mohun Bagan.
Juan Ferrando, whose teams are known for their attractive, attacking football, will have some of the best talent available in the Indian Super League at his disposal.
In a club release, Juan Ferrando said, “I will give my 110% from day one so that all fans can enjoy the best brand of football and hopefully we can celebrate together. I will consistently work towards helping our team give the best.”
