Bayern Munich’s Jann-Fiete Arp moves to Holstein Kiel!

Jann-Fiete Arp is leaving FC Bayern Munich and moving to Bundesliga 2 club Holstein Kiel. The 22-year-old joined the German record champions from Hamburger SV in summer 2019.

Hasan Salihamidžić, FC Bayern board member for sport, said, “Fiete Arp came to FC Bayern as one of the biggest German talents. He’d made his first Bundesliga appearances for Hamburger SV and performed very well for Germany at the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Unfortunately, expectations are sometimes not fulfilled, we discussed our options at length with Fiete and in the end we were all agreed that it’s best for Fiete to pursue a new path. We wish him luck and every success for the new challenge.”

Arp celebrated one German Bundesliga championship and one DFB Cup win with FC Bayern, as well as winning the third division 3.Liga title with the FC Bayern reserves, for whom he scored eight goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.

Jann-Fiete Arp already spent last season on loan at Holstein Kiel.
