Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of Australian defender Aaron Evans for the 2022/23 season.
27 year old Aaron Michael Evans, who was born in Canberra, in his youth played for Capital Football Academy and ACT Academy of Sport.
At senior level, Aaron Michael Evans played for Canberra City FC, Hong Kong side Tai Po FC, Kamphaengphet FC of Thailand, Laos side Lanexang United FC, before moving to Indonesia and playing there for Barito Putera, PSM Makassar, PSS Sleman, and Persis Solo.
Now Aaron Evans moves to India to join the Highlanders.
NorthEast United FC technical director Ohad Efrat said, “Aaron is a player who is widely experienced in Asian football, He tackles hard and is full of energy. We believe he will help us improve our defence and provide stability to our squad.”
