AFC announces media rights deal with D-Smart in Turkey!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today announced that D-Smart will be their new media partner in Turkey broadcasting the AFC competitions in the period from 2021 to 2024.

The deal includes all major AFC national team and club competitions, including but not limited to the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar Final Round, the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 and the AFC U23 Asian Cup Finals 2022 and 2024, as well as the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup from the 2021 season.

D-Smart is a service brand of Demirören İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş, Turkey’s second-largest pay-television operator, with a reach of approximately 1.6 million households.

D-Smart offers subscribers over 270 domestic and foreign channels through their linear and digital platforms, including D-SmartGo, D-SmartNet services and YouTube. D-Smart will add extensive live coverage of all AFC national team and club competitions to an already impressive portfolio of rights.
