AFC Knowledge Sharing Programme 2024 welcomes second batch!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) welcomed the second group of participants for its latest edition of the Knowledge Sharing Programme 2024 on Friday, February 2.

Tailored to enhance the capabilities of AFC Member Associations (MAs) and Regional Associations (RAs) in their overall development of capacity in football administration, the month-long programme, which concludes on February 29, will see the selected candidates come under the guidance of renowned experts of the AFC.

The initiative, a revamped version of the erstwhile AFC Internship Programme, will see a candidate from the Bhutan Football Federation (BFF) and the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to become future leaders of Asian football.

The participants, who will receive hands-on training on the best practices of football governance and day-to-day operations of the AFC’s MA Division, are expected to share their learnings with their respective organisations and help implement necessary policies to elevate governance standards – further underlining the AFC’s efforts to maximise the potential of its MAs and RAs.

The Knowledge Sharing Programme is open to all employees of the AFC’s MAs and RAs. Moreover, candidates from the AFC Academic Centre of Excellence who have graduated with “distinction” will also have the opportunity to be part of the programme.
