An Asian Football Confederation Level 1 Futsal Course was held at the Ramhlun Sports Complex between November 13-18, 2017 in Aizawl, Mizoram.
The trainees gave their practical exams in the afternoon. Ten Futsal coaches completed the course under AFC Elite instructor Steven Knight and Assistant Instructor Rajeev P.K.
Mr. Knight speaking about the trainees said, “I am very happy that Mizoram is going to have good Futsal coaches. I have seen very positive things during our course.”
MFA Honorary Secretary Lalnghinglova Hmar said, “Mizoram is trying to be at the forefront of Futsal revolution in the country, and we are very fortunate to have this opportunity thanks to the AFC and the AIFF. We are going to have the Futsal League in January and our new coaches will be integral in the success of the League.”
