The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will host the Asian leg of the FIFAe Continental Championships qualifying campaign in Malaysia.
The qualifiers will be hosted across the five continents, with Asia’s best national teams set to converge in Kuala Lumpur from August 19 to 22 to compete across eFootball™ Mobile and eFootball™ Console.
The first of the five regional qualifiers, the event in the Southeast Asian nation will kick off a race for teams across the globe for a place in the FIFAe Finals 2026.
The FIFAe Continental Championships follow an initial online qualification phase, the FIFAe Nations League, which saw more than 120 FIFA Member Associations compete across their respective regions for a place in the next stage of the competition.
Serving as the final regional stage on the Road to the FIFAe Finals 2026, the FIFAe Continental Championships will see eight Asian teams compete in each of the eFootball™ Mobile and eFootball™ Console titles
Following the success of the AFC eAsian Cup in Qatar in conjunction with the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ and the AFC eChampions League Elite in Jeddah last year, the AFC’s role in hosting the regional qualifiers for the FIFAe Continental Championships is yet another step forward in its commitment to pushing the boundaries of fan engagement and broadening the reach of Asian football,
FIFAe will additionally host regional Rocket League qualification at the event, rounding out all three titles and broadening access for the region on the Road to the FIFAe Finals 2026.
