The All India Football Federation (AIFF) have announced the four groups for the 19 teams taking part in the 2nd Division League group stage, which will be played across India.
The group stage in the 2nd Division League will see 11 state league champions (or the next best team) from across India besides six ISL reserve team sides and two qualifiers in Shillong Lajong FC and Downtown Heroes FC in action.
The four group stage champions and the best second placed side will qualify for the five team final round, but none of the ISL reserve sides will be allowed to progress.
The top two teams in the final round will qualify for the 2023/24 I-League.
2nd Division League groupings
Group A: Downtown Heroes FC, Techtro Swades United FC, Delhi FC, Jagat Singh Palahi, Mumbai City FC (R)
Group B: Shillong Lajong FC, United SC, East Bengal FC (R), BLG Diamond Rock
Group C: RKM Football Academy, Chennaiyin FC (R), Bengaluru FC (R), FC Bengaluru United, Golden Threads FC
Group D: Hyderabad FC (R), FC Goa (R), Dempo SC, Ambernath United, ARA FC
