AIFF calls for applications for India U-17 Women’s coach!

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has asked for applications of the head coach for the India Under-17 Women’s national team going into the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup as hosts.

The official job description says, “The Head Coach, Women’s U-17 National Team will report to the Technical Director and AIFF General Secretary and is accountable for the performance of the U-17 team in all matches and competitions it participates in during the term of the coach’s contract. The Head Coach will work closely with the relevant AIFF departments, the National Team Director, Technical Director and the General Manager – Strategy and Operations to strengthen the position and performances of the U-17 Women’s National Team.”

The AIFF is looking ideally for a woman and European citizen with a minimum of eight years of experience of coaching at youth level, who holds at least an AFC or UEFA pro license.

Currently the India U-17 Women’s team is being coached by former India international striker Alex Ambrose after having done a few rounds of scouting.
