The AIFF D Certificate Tutors Refreshers Course conducted by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) is underway at the CVM Football Academy, Anand, Gujarat from March 22 till March 27, 2021.
The course facilitates the revalidation process and the opportunity for the coach educators to conduct courses across India. A total of 51 active D Certificate Tutors pan-India are attending this refresher course.
The refresher course is led by the D Certificate Committee Members, namely Shakti Chauhan, Shekhar Kerkar, Jeddy Almeida, John Raj, Marcelino Pereira, Vivek Nagul, Sajid Dar and Raghuvir Khanolkar, under the leadership of AIFF Head of Coach Education, Savio Medeira.
“We are having the refresher in two batches as the group is big. In this refresher, we will focus more on the coach educators’ behaviour during theory and practical sessions,” said Mr Medeira. “This refresher will help all Coach Educators to renew their learnings and all to be on the same page when conducting courses in the future.”
The 51 participating tutors are divided into two batches. The first batch, already underway, will go through the refresher programme until March 24, while the second batch will attend the course between March 25 and March 27.
