The AIFF Under-19 Colts defeated FC Bardez of the Goa Pro League 3-1 in a practice match at the Artificial Turf in Fatorda Stadium, Goa on Saturday, November 19.
Two goals in the second half by the AIFF Colts, after the half time scoreline read one-all led the Colts to an easy win over their opponents.
After FC Bardez had gone ahead in the 15th minute, the AIFF Colts equalised in the 38th minute when Tluanga’s thumping left footed shot went into the back of the net after he capitalised on a Moya cross from the flank.
In the 57th minute, the AIFF Colts surged into the lead as Moya rounded the opposition custodian and poked the ball home after a tacky one touch play around the edge of the opposition penalty box.
The AIFF Colts put some breathing space between them and their opponents and in the 75th minute, the Colts doubled their lead when Bhutia’s through ball found Raghav clear of the mix. The latter did little wrong and tapped the ball home to make it 3-1.
