Former I-League champions Aizawl FC have announced the return of Argentinian attacking midfielder Matias Veron for the 2021/22 season.
The 27-year-old Matias Veron is an attacking midfielder who played in his native Argentina for Atletico de Rafaela II (twice), Tiro Federal de Morteros, CD Libertad, and Juventud Unida RC (twice) before coming to India.
Matias Veron had joined Aizawl FC mid-season in January 2020 as a replacement foreign signing to play eight I-League matches scoring a goal.
Thereafter he went to Spain to join Guadix CF before now returning to India to rejoin the People’s Club.
