Aizawl FC sign goalkeeper Gurpeet Singh Chhabal!

Former I-League champions Aizawl FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Gurpeet Singh Chhabal for the 2018/19 season.

25 year old Amritsar-born Gurpeet Singh Chhabal started playing football locally before moving in 2010 to the renowned Tata Football Academy in Jamshedpur. He spend four years at TFA as a cadet.

In 2014, Gurpeet Singh Chhabal joined then I-League side Dempo SC but was send on loan to FC Goa in the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. He returned for the 2015 I-League before Dempo SC pulled their team out of the I-League in summer 2015.

Thereafter he spend time with capital side Delhi United FC and was picked in the 2017 ISL draft by NorthEast United FC ahead of ISL – Season 4.

Now Gurpeet Singh Chhabal stays in the Northeast to join Aizawl FC.
