Albania’s Armando Sadiku joins Mohun Bagan SG!

Albanian international striker Armando Sadiku has signed to join Mohun Bagan Super Giant for the 2023/24 season.

32 year old Elbasan-born Armando Sadiku in his youth played for Fushë Mbreti and KF Turbina Cërrik, where he also would make his senior debut.

Thereafter Armando Sadiku played in Albania for Gramozi Ersekë and Elbasani before moving to Switzerland to play for FC Locarno, FC Lugano and FC Zürich with loan spells at FC Vaduz and back at FC Lugano.

He then played for Legia Warsaw in Poland, UD Levante in Spain with another loan spell at FC Lugano and at CF Málaga. Then a stint at BB Erzurumspor in Turkey and then Club Bolívar in Bolivia.

Thereafter Armando Sadiku returned to play in Spain for UD Las Palmas and FC Cartagena.

Armando Sadiku said, “I am proud to be part of this 133 year old club.”

“When Mohun Bagan contacted me, I enquired in detail about the league and it really made me interested. And honestly, Mohun Bagan Super Giant management convinced me to join in a week’s time.”

“So here I am. I have read about the rich legacy of Mohun Bagan and I hope with my teammates we are able to defend our title and add more accolates in the coming seasons.”
