Ansumana Kromah returns for second stint to East Bengal!

Struggling I-League giants East Bengal Club today have announced the signing of Ansumana Kromah for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

27 year old Monrovia-born Kromah played at home in Liberia with Kiawu FC, LISCR FC, Zelor FC, Barrack Young Controllers, and Watanga FC before he joined Peerless SC for the 2016 Calcutta Football League.

Kromah then had an impressive campaign with Churchill Brothers SC in the 2017 I-League, scoring six goals in 13 matches after signing late for the Red Machines.

He thereafter returned to Kolkata to join city giants Mohun Bagan AC for the 2017 Calcutta Football League, but the club weren’t happy with his performance so they released him before the I-League, but city rivals East Bengal signed Kromah for an I-League campaign which did not end with the league title.

Ahead of the 2018 Calcutta Football League, Kromah returned to Peerless SC and had a strong campaign like his club and was then signed by Aizawl FC ahead of the 2018/19 I-League to move to the Northeast of India for the first-time.

Ahead of the 2019 Calcutta Football League, Kromah returned to Peerless SC and impressed as the CFL’s top scorer while Peerless SC lifted the Calcutta Football League trophy.

Kromah went after the CFL to play in Malaysia, but returned without a match and now signed for East Bengal for a second time with an aim to help the fallen Kolkata giants.
