I-League debutants Rajasthan United FC have announced the signing of Argentinian defender Mauro Dos Santos for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.
32 year old Lomas de Zamora-born Mauro Dos Santos is a former Argentina Under-20 international.
Mauro Dos Santos came through the youth system at CA Banfield and also played for their second and first teams. In 2012, Mauro Dos Santos moved to Spain, where he would go on to play for Real Murcia, UD Almería, SD Eibar, CD Leganés and CD Tenerife in LaLiga and LaLiga 2.
Mauro Dos Santos in 2020 went on loan to Albirex Niigata in Japan before returning to Argentina to play for CD Godoy Cruz in 2021.
Now Mauro Dos Santos is a priced signing for I-League newcomers Rajasthan United FC, who will hope that Mauro can add stability to their defence.
