Former Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have announced that their Fiji striker Roy Krishna will leave the club in the summer.
Indian origin Roy Krishna had come to Kolkata in 2019 from Australian A-League side Wellington Phoenix, where he played five season and in his last season in the A-League, Roy Krishna won the golden-boot award and the Johnny Warren medal of the A-League.
Fan favourite Roy Krishna first scored 15 goals in the 2019/20 season for ATK, while then scoring 24 goals and 13 assists over the last couple of seasons for ATK Mohun Bagan.
Roy Krishna has had a tough 2021/22 season due to contracting COVID-19 and then other injuries, even moving down the pecking order under new coach Juan Ferrando.
