FC Goa have reached an agreement with ATK Mohun Bagan over a swap deal of midfielders Glan Martins and Lenny Rodrigues.
Interestingly the two club had traded both these players the other way two years ago in the 2021 winter transfer window.
35 year old Lenny Rodrigues, who was born in Cortalim in Goa, returns to FC Goa for a second stint having played for them between 2018 and 2021. Thereafter he played for ATK Mohun Bagan.
Earlier in his career the former India international midfielder played for Fransa-Pax FC, Salgaocar FC and Churchill Brothers in his youth. It was at the Red Machines that Lenny made his senior debut.
Thereafter he played for FC Pune City with loan spells at Dempo SC, Mohun Bagan AC, Bengaluru FC before joining the Blues full time. Thereafter he joined the Gaurs for the first time.
28 year old Glan Peter Martins, who was born in Velsao, played for the Sesa Football Academy and Sporting Clube de Goa in his youth. It was at Sporting Goa that he made his senior debut. Thereafter he played for Churchill Brothers and impressed for them in the I-League to join ATK Mohun Bagan before being traded to FC Goa.
Now Glan Martins returns to the Mariners for a second spell.
