ATK Mohun Bagan sign Deepak Tangri from Chennaiyin FC!

Former Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have announced the signing of defensive player Deepak Tangri from Chennaiyin FC on a two year contract.

22-year-old Chandigarh-born Deepak Tangri played for the Chandigarh Football Academy before joining the Mohun Bagan Academy, where he moved to a higher level.

Deepak Tangri then moved to the Indian Arrows, also playing for the India Under-20s, to get a feel of the I-League.

Chennaiyin FC signed Deepak Tangri alongside other India youngsters ahead of the 2018-19 season but he went back to the Indian Arrows on loan for more experience.

After an impressive season, Deepak Tangri returned to Chennaiyin FC but didn’t get much match time in his first ISL season, which changed in ISL-7, where Deepak Tangri was a regular and now returns to Kolkata to play for the Mariners once more.
