Bahrain FA’s second Pro Diploma Coaching Course kicks-off!

The Bahrain Football Association (BFA) started its second AFC Professional Football Diploma Coaching Course in the capital city on Saturday, April 28.

The first batch will see 24 coaches put through the demanding course that includes practical and theoretical sessions.

The opening ceremony was graced by BFA President Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, BFA Board Member and Chairman of the Training and Development Committee Yasser Al Rumaithi and Head of the Technical Affairs Department of the BFA and the Director of the Course A’abed Al Ansari.

“This will be second year in a row it is held in Bahrain and the course is a continuation of the approach of the Association in the process of development and training of technical cadres. It is one of the most advanced courses in the field of training., emphasising the great emphasis on the human element in the technical field and the development and development of ways to support it,” said Al Rumaithi.

Al-Rumaithi also stressed the importance of benefiting from the outputs of the course, which is attended by internationally accredited instructors.

The course is moderated by German international instructor Erich Rutemöller and assisted by Bahraini international instructor Fahad Al-Mukharreq, as well as Kuwaiti fitness instructor Tareq Al-Bannay, and Professor Werner Mickler, a renowned German psychologist.

The second period will be held in November 2018 and the third in December 2018, with the fourth and final period in March 2019.

BFA has indicated that the course will see additional lectures which will strengthen the aspects of nutrition and psychology, among others.
