FC Bayern Munich have loaned out striker Fiete Arp, 21, to Bundesliga 2 side Holstein Kiel for 12 months.
“After discussions with Fiete (Arp) and his management, we have decided to loan Fiete out to Holstein Kiel for a season,” said FC Bayern board member Hasan Salihamidžić. “Unfortunately Fiete has not been able to show what he’s capable of at FC Bayern up to now, also because of two serious injuries that cost him his pre-seasons in the first and the second year. At Kiel he has the chance of a new start and we hope he can develop his qualities. I’d like to thank Holstein Kiel for their co-operation.”
Former Germany junior international Fiete Arp joined FC Bayern from Hamburger SV in 2019. He played once for the first team and made 42 appearances for the reserves, scoring eight goals.
