Bayern Munich loan Sarpreet Singh to Jahn Regensburg!

New Zealand international of Indian origin Sarpreet Singh (22) is to join Bundesliga 2 club SSV Jahn Regensburg from FC Bayern Munich on loan for the 2021/22 season.

The attacking midfielder, who moved to Munich from his native New Zealand two years ago, is to gain further match practice in Regensburg. Last season, he went out on loan to 1. C Nürnberg and returned to the FC Bayern Campus in January 2021. So far, he has played 38 times (ten goals) for the FC Bayern U-23 reserves and made two appearances for the first team.

Jochen Sauer, FC Bayern Campus director, said, “Sarpreet already familiarised himself with the demands of the second tier at Nürnberg last season, where he made his first appearances at a higher level. The plan now is for him to continue his development at this level in Regensburg in order to take the next step in his career.”
