Bayern Munich to discuss International Development at Soccerex USA!

FC Bayern Munich’s President of the Americas, Rudolf Vidal will be sharing insights into the international development of elite soccer clubs at Soccerex USA, November 15/16 in Miami. Vidal will take part in a one-to-one interview as part of a series of discussions with leading club representatives, including Jerome De Chaunac – Managing Director, Americas, Paris Saint-Germain and City Football Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Tom Glick.

European soccer giants, FC Bayern Munich, opened an office in the US in 2014, a move that was spearheaded by Rudolf Vidal aiming to grow the fan base and form mutually beneficial relationships. The club, which has fans in all 50 states, visited the U.S. for the third time this summer since opening its first international office in New York four years ago.

More recently, the club has put a larger focus on Latin America, looking to take advantage of their burgeoning fan base there, largely due to the talented South American players in their squad and the local market attraction that they bring. To help them accelerate this, the club recently formed a strategic partnership with Perform Group that will give brands the opportunity to engage with the club and benefit from market leading content across Perform’s different media platforms.

Commenting on the addition of FC Bayern Munich’s Rudolf Vidal to the Soccerex USA agenda, Soccerex’s Marketing Director, David Wright, said, “Club business is a core part of any Soccerex event and to be able showcase the expertise of one of the most successful teams in Europe, alongside insights from the current champions of England and France demonstrates our commitment to delivering the best. I am delighted to welcome Rudolf to the event and look forward to his session in Miami.”

Vidal will be part of an industry leading conference programme at Soccerex USA that is being developed in conjunction with an advisory board containing representatives from CONCACAF, MLS and US Soccer.

Soccerex USA is sponsored by the London Football Exchange, the world’s first fully integrated soccer club stock exchange and marketplace, and hosted in partnership with General American Capital Partners. The two day event will take place at Miami’s iconic Marlins Park and will comprise an exhibition showcasing the latest soccer business, performance and technology innovations.

Soccerex USA will include a programme of structured and informal networking events to connect delegates from across the USA and the rest of the world and it will feature a market leading conference agenda, with international experts tackling topics such as league expansion, women’s soccer, youth development, eSports, stadia technology, investment and new commercial opportunities.
