Burnley FC have announced that manager Vincent Kompany has signed a new contract to extend his commitment with the club.
After a Championship winning year in his first season in charge at Turf Moor the manager has signed a new five year deal.
After agreeing to stay until at least 2028 Kompany confirmed his delight saying, “Burnley and Turf Moor felt right pretty much from the start – so it also feels right to sign for the next five years.”
“Together with the fans we have made Turf Moor a fortress again and continue to look forward to the future and the job of making Burnley better with every step.”
Chairman Alan Pace added, “We are ecstatic Vincent has signed a new deal!”

Burnley FC’s promotion season as champions concludes at Turf Moor on Monday with the trophy presentation in front of a sell-out crowd.
