The CAF Disciplinary Board has released the verdict on the matter relating to ASKO de Kara and player Kangnivi Ama Tchoutchoui following a complaint that was lodged during the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Match featuring ASKO de Kara (Togo) and Future F.C. (Egypt) played on February 12, 2023.
The Facts:
During the last season 2021/2022, Kangnivi Ama Tchoutchoui was registered with Nouadhibou FC (Mauritania) and received a three-match suspension for violent conduct during a TotalEnergies Champions League match. He served two of the matches with Nouadhibou FC. He was included on the suspension list to be followed for the 2022-2023 season which was sent to all National Federations including the Togolese Football Federation at the beginning of the season.
The Disciplinary Board ruled that:
1. ASKO de Kara forfeit the match against Future FC
2. They pay a fine of USD 10, 000
