CAF makes Hay Al Wady vs Ahly Tripoli a one match affair!

The CAF Interclubs Organising Committee has decided, in accordance with the competition Regulations, that the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup fixture between Hay Al Wady (Sudan) vs Ahly Tripoli (Libya) will now be played over a single leg next week on September 19.

The first leg of the fixture was initially scheduled on September 12 in Sudan but was called off due to concerns over the suitability of the match venue.

The match will now be played in Libya on September 19, 2021 in Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi at 17:00 GMT.

In case the match ends in a draw after the regulatory time, no extra time will be played, and the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.

The winner of this match shall qualify to the second preliminary round of the competition.
