CAF presents ‘The Game Changers’, the CAF Women’s Champions League official film!

They are all women’s football stakeholders. On or off the pitch, they played a leading role in the first edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League, which took place from November 5 to 19, 2021 in Egypt.

In this documentary, they tell the human and sporting adventure that is the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The historic event that saw the coronation of South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns redefined the ecosystem of African women’s football.

In addition to the South African side, seven other clubs from different CAF zones took part in the finals. They are Wadi Degla FC (Egypt), AS Mande (Mali), Malabo King’s FC (Equatorial Guinea), Hasaacas Ladies FC (Ghana), Vihiga Queens (Kenya), ASFAR (Morocco) and Rivers Angels (Nigeria).

For two weeks, the continent’s nuggets enchanted viewers with their talent, their desire and their audacity.

Between revelation and confirmation, the public never ceased to discover what the continent had to offer in terms of excellence and to become fond of these women with such diverse backgrounds.

From CAF officials to players, coaches and volunteers, the message was the same: women’s football is the future and women deserve to be hoisted to the firmament of glory.
