31 year old Mizoram-born Lalkhawpuimawia played locally in his youth.
Lalkhawpuimawia at senior level played for Chhinga Veng FC and Aizawl FC in Mizoram before he joined I-League side Churchill Brothers. Thereafter he played for NorthEast United FC in the ISL before returning to Churchill Brothers
Lalkhawpuimawia now returns to his home state, while for Chanmari FC the signing of experienced striker Lalkhawpuimawia is a big one ahead of the 2023/24 season.
