I-League side Chennai City FC has a focus on young talent and to give them exposure at the top level, which they have continued in the signing of three youngsters for the 2017/18 season.
They signed central midfielder S. Rajapani and winger Pandian as Under-23 quota players from Chennai Senior Division rivals Viva Chennai. Both are products of the Raman Vijayan Football Academy.
Meanwhile 21 year old J. Alexander Romario from Dindugal returns to Chennai City FC after having had a season with them as an 18 year old three years ago. Last season he played for former National Football League side Indian Bank.
