CONCACAF Selects FloSports as U.S. Broadcast Partner for the CONCACAF Nations League!

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content today announced a partnership that will provide FloSports with exclusive English-language broadcast rights in the United States for the CONCACAF Nations League, the new centralized men’s national team competition of the Confederation.

The multiyear agreement begins in March during week four of the CONCACAF Nations League Qualifiers. FloSports’ newly-launched soccer vertical, FloFC, will provide exclusive live tournament coverage and on-demand content through 2022 with more than 770 hours of coverage for some of the best players from the region.

“This a landmark deal for FloSports as we continue to expand our soccer coverage,” FloSports co-founder Mark Floreani said. “The CONCACAF region represents some of the most competitive teams and players, and we’re thrilled to give fans access to these world-class games.”

“As the CONCACAF Nations League gains popularity across our region, we are very proud to partner with FloSports to continue engaging our English-speaking fans, who will now be able to follow all the action of this new national team competition live in the United States through the FloFC soccer platform,” said CONCACAF General Secretary Philippe Moggio. “Our commitment to bring the CONCACAF Nations League closer to our diverse fan base is reinforced by this agreement, which provides an extraordinary opportunity to increase the exposure and relevance of this competition.”

More than 200 games of the CONCACAF Nations League, from qualifying through knockout rounds, will be broadcast on FloFC.com, the company’s 25th vertical and its first channel dedicated to soccer. In addition to being the home for live streamed soccer events, the channel will also feature original CONCACAF programming, studio shows, breaking news, and more.

The CONCACAF Nations League began in September 2018 with a one-off qualifying phase. The matches for the final round of the qualifying are scheduled for March 21-26, 2019. The group phase, consisting of three tiered leagues will kick off in September 2019. The top league will end with a Final to crown the Nations League champion, and the competition will also serve to unify the qualifying path for the region’s national teams to the newly expanded Gold Cup.

“Soccer fans are some of the most passionate fans on the planet,” FloSports SVP Global Rights Acquisition David Weiss said. “Providing fans with authentic and dedicated coverage of a sport has always been at the forefront of what we do, and we look forward to working with CONCACAF to bring a best-in-class experience to their fans around the CONCACAF Nations League and together, grow the sport and competition.”

CONCACAF joins a growing and robust roster of soccer programming on FloFC.com. The channel has exclusive live and on-demand rights locally for MLS’ D.C. United matches, rights in Canada to the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana through a partnership with Lega Serie A, as well as global co-exclusive rights to more than 200 men’s and women’s Big Ten soccer matches through FloSports’ partnership with the Big Ten Network.
