The away game tested Delhi FC’s mettle, as they faced the fervent opposition and undeniable support of the Shillong Lajong FC faithful.

Right from the start, Delhi FC exhibited their relentless spirit, creating numerous promising opportunities. However, it was Abdou Karim of Shillong Lajong who struck first, brilliantly finding the back of the net in the 23rd minute, giving his team the upper hand.

Undeterred, Delhi FC regrouped during the half-time break, channelling their determination to make a definitive comeback. And just as the clock struck the hour mark, the tenacious Gaurav Rawat shattered the silence, equalizing the scoreline, much to the delight of Delhi FC’s loyal supporters. The game was far from over.
