Dream Wings charity launches Dipendu Biswas’ photo exhibition!

The charity ‘Dream Wings’ is a Government registered public charitable Trust with a vision to achieve social fortification of the unfortunate underprivileged street occupants, slum dwellers, who have started health care through providing medical support through doctors and medicine.

As part of their efforts to raise money, Dream Wings last year organised an Exhibition Football Match between East Bengal Club and Mohammedan Sporting Club at the Howrah Municipal Stadium and after the game was able to hand over Rupees 200,000 (2 lakhs) each to little cancer patient Joydeep Koruli and famous actor Chandan Sen.

Recently Dream Wings organised a health camp for the destitute inhabitants of ‘Bamungachi Rail Bustee’ at North Howrah along with a number of medical camps in rural areas like Amta, Joypur, Sankrail all in Howrah district. Now Dream Wings has the co-operation of Laskarpur Jagarani Sangha to further continue its noble work.

Today the Photo Gallery Exhibition “UNPUTDOWNABLE DIPENDU” showcasing different moments of the career of legendary footballer Dipendu Biswas to raise funds for the treatment of destitute children started with candle lighting by Dipendu Biswas, fellow footballer Syed Rahim Nabi, Dr. Tushar Sil, Swapan Banerjee (Secretary, Bengal Olympic Association), Firdousi Begam (MLA), Sanjit Kumar Chatterjee (councilor)this afternoon in Garia, south Kolkata.

‘Oder Sathe Arma Borodine’, a Christmas program for the destitute children and a free Health Camp, handout out of free medicine, sit & draw, wheel chairs for the physically handicapped, a friendly football match and other things are part of the program which will be held until Monday, December 26 in the presence of celebrities.
